During our first visit to Freight Island, we had to arrive at 5:10 PM despite having a reservation. The complex is vast, featuring numerous bars and restaurants, all in open spaces with minimal separation between them. The music was quite loud, making it feel more suited for a younger crowd. As for the food, it was decent but not exceptional. The portion sizes didn’t justify the prices, which ranged from £7 to £9 for small tapas dishes. The calamari was the smallest portion I’ve ever seen, although it was tasty enough. While it was nice to experience Freight Island, we probably won’t be returning anytime soon.
Second time here. Absolutely the best cooked steak in the city even when compared with the well known more expensive Hawksmoor and Gaucho. The setting in an old railway depot with other restaurants and bars . Heaters at Baratxuri made it comfortable in this space. Our waitress was excellent. Knowledgeable, attentive (but not overly so) and a real pleasure to engage with. We got there at opening time and it was relatively quiet but I am sure it will get much busier later. The place is literally a stone’s throw from Piccadilly train station.
As for the food, it was decent but pricey considering the small portion sizes. The tapas ranged from £7 to £9 for just a few bites. Fantastic food, but the place was freezing cold. Lots of heaters around, but they didn't seem to make a difference. In fact, it seemed colder inside than outside! Shame really as it was excellent otherwise. I'll be going back, but in the spring/summer.

Food was good, some of the pintoxs were cold and probably sat for a whilee, I'm guessing this is down to COVID-19 and low number of covers which is understandable.
Absolutely stunning in every aspect. The food was exquisite, the wine was delightful, and the service was impeccable.
