I popped in Here for lunch as I had a cheque of £35 to use from Trg Concessions , after an appalling service in Hourglass at Piccadilly Train Station.. Hey what do you expect? It is in a mall, it is in a thoroughfare and it is pretty standard Italian. I guess it gets a 3* A OK because I wouldn 't say a Yay! I 'm a fan. On a recent hungover trip to the Trafford Centre, my friends and I decided to stop for a meal. We craved a lot and we craved it now. Seated in the lovely 'outside terrace ' of Est Est Est we quickly ordered drinks the fruit punch is divine and perfect for combating extreme wine intake. As a starter I had the breadcrumbed mushrooms and mozarella with tomato salsa which was delicious and the sauce was just the right amount of tangy to balance the richness of the cheese. For my main, I ordered the Pollo Al Forno which was chicken on top of a pasta base with grana padano and spinach. my friend is always in the mood for pasta so we decided to eat here for a lunch break during our boxing day shopping! we were brought to a table promptly and given enough time to decide what we would like--i ordered a fusilli dish while my friend had his carbonara. it was a nice, open atmosphere restaurant in trafford centre which gave a very nice ambiance! our food arrived pretty quickly, i'd say within 10 minutes or so! the service was very kind and the place wasn't too busy (even though trafford was) but it seemed to be popular as a family place! the prices were fairly reasonable for pasta and for the portion size! it was an overall nice restaurant to eat with a friend when you don't want...
A mixture chain of Zizzi's and Piccolino's menu with a mature atmosphere and decor. It loses some relaxation to your experience here because of this. You are seated and your waiter/tress is attentive but it's hard to feel pleased when the place is situated next to the funnel walkway allowing the stream of shoppers with hungry stomachs to peer over your shoulder at what you're eating being watched whilst eating something quite delicious extracts the enjoyment. The menu serves a variety and the chefs provide hot, tasty tasty grub. If the situation of this restaurant was elsewhere, I'm sure I would enjoy it more.
What we ordered: Rigatoni Alla Romana £11.75 £1.95 Formaggi e Tartufo Ravioli £11.25 £1.95 Pornstar Martini £7.95 Bellini £7.95 We both added chicken as an extra topping to our pasta which was £1.95 each Overall I'd rate my experience here a solid 4/5 The pornstar martini was really good. Not too sweet, not too bitter just perfect Surprisingly, the Rigatoni was also good too! I enjoyed every bite. Especially loved the sauce it came with too. The Ravioli was another great dish too! Wasn't thrilled with the main course tasteless and the chicken was dry. Starter (soup) and side (garlic bread with cheese) was lovely service was average however food was a complete let down being lovers of Italian food, expected it to taste much better and not dry beyond words! Won't be returning

Very good service from the staff. Good selection of pasta pizza and chicken dishes on the menu. I had the bruschetta starter which was fantastic some of the way bruschetta I've had. Price wise, reasonable and a nice spot in the Trafford Centre to have an informal meal. Will be back!
