I have to begin by saying that this hidden gem of a restaurant is fantastic. Even though I'm not a fan of coconut, the coconut shrimp was so delicious that I ended up having a second helping. The ginger-mango chutney made for an excellent dipping sauce for the shrimp. The crab and corn cake was flavorful and had a nice little kick to it. Having never tried jerk chicken before, I decided to give it a go, and I was not disappointed. The portion was generous and the seasoning was spot on. With 480 types of rum to choose from, I'll definitely be coming back, and next time I'll bring friends along!
Wow! What can I say?! This is a real foodie/cook speaking. I ordered a dark and stormy cocktail. I’m very picky about my ginger beer because my Mum made her own and it was amazing. Great cocktail. My main was the West Indian curried snapper. To die for. The layers of flavour just kept evolving in my mouth. Eva stopped by the table to check on us and told me it takes her 30 hours to make that curry. I can’t wait to go back and have that again. My daughter ordered the blackened catfish and said “ Mum I’m full but it’s so good ....a few more bites.” Highly recommended. Make a reservation.
I am centro American and tired of Mexican and Italian food. I didn’t want to review because I didn’t want anyone to know of this little hidden gem! Their plantains taste just like my grandmothers! Their shrimp is amazing. And the customer service was great! The restaurant is adorable too
