Famoso Neapolitan Pizzeria Whyte Ave

My family had a great experience eating here on New Year's Day! The two servers we had were fantastic--they very helpfully answered all our questions, they didn't stop by too often or too infrequently, and the first one was incredibly patient and accommodating of our request to turn off the TV or change the channel (one of us was getting a migraine from all the flickering beside us), even when we all rudely clamoured at him at once to turn it off. We also ordered four separate times (appetizers, then main course, then drinks, then desserts), because we couldn't make up our minds, which I'm sure was somewhat annoying, but the servers handled it well and came back with the food/drinks in a tim...

Hospitality was great..For Food we ordered tomato soap which was good....We also got Margarita for the pizza and the pizza sauce was completely bland..it was not even a sauce ..it tasted as if raw tomatoes were spread instead of sauce..although dough was fresh Basil was not..tasted as if they use store bought basil and not fresh grown..Overall pizza was ok but expected better.. For the drinks sangria was good no complaints.. Will definitely return to try there pasta..

We used to love eating here, but sadly the quality has gone waaaay downhill. It had been a while and we ordered our favourite dishes (BBQ chicken pizza and Famoso salad) and were so let down by both. The pizza toppings were worse, it didn’t taste near as good and it even looked sloppy. The salad was soggy and was also missing some of the ingredients that used to make it great. We’re sad that one of our go-tos has fallen so far and will likely not be back.

I ordered SkipTheDishes from this location. I got two tomato soups and three pizzas. The tomato soups were great, but all three of my pizzas were raw in the centres. Pasty white dough and tacky when I tried to chew. Overall disappointed, as multiple pizzas were not up to standard. I had a good experience at this restaurant. I tried the tomato soup, which was delicious, and the margarita pizza. The pizza was fresh, but I thought the sauce could have been more seasoned as it tasted a bit bland. Overall, I would rate the food a 4, the service a 5, and the atmosphere a 5.

The gluten free crust at this restaurant is delicious and wonderful! The pizza is always great and the service is excellent. I love it here and would definitely recommend it.
