I happened to pass by this restaurant while heading to Staples and decided to give it a try. The cheesesteak was excellent, with high-quality steak that really stood out. The sidewinder fries were crispy and had a nice, simple seasoning that complemented them well. While it's not the cheapest lunch option, the portions are quite generous—I ordered a medium and had a hard time finishing it. The service was quick and friendly, too. Next time, I’ll get my car washed next door so I can take advantage of the discount!
UPDATE: Fat Ernie?s is back!!! Using good steak meat and serving up proper cheesesteaks. Gave the store a call after I finished my sandwich because it hit the spot! Turns out the owner was the guy making the sandwiches! Glad to see he really cares about his business and the product they put out. My regular order: Traditional cheesesteak, American Cheese, Onions, and Bell Peppers on the Garlic Bread. Best cheesesteaks on Long Island!!! I?ll be back on the regular now.
This restaurant has undergone a remarkable transformation since the change in ownership. It's truly impressive! We even had them cater our Super Bowl party. Having spent half my life in Philadelphia, I can confidently say that this place delivers more flavor and better quality than many of the overrated spots in the city. I highly recommend the fried pickles—they're made fresh daily!
One of the better cheesesteaks you can get on Long Island, get the 10 oz ribeye combo with sidewinder fries, coke and ketchup with boom boom sauce on the side to dip the fries in. Keep it simple with provolone or wiz and grilled onions as the only toppings and enjoy. Fire.

I missed some order notes on my sandwich, but overall, it was good. The marinara sauce was chunky, and the mozzarella had some hard cheese that wasn’t melted. The fries were decent, though they developed a bitter taste after a while.
Although just one person working he was awesome, his demeanorand his service was superb he explained everything to us .For a first timer there, food was delicious .I'm definitely going back.
The food was tasty, but I paid $5 for just four onion rings, which feels outrageous. I've attached a photo to show how it was served.
The sandwich had barely any meat—almost none at all. It also lacked the toppings I had paid for. Overall, it was poorly made.

The Cheese steak is awesome, juicy, big and has great quality ingredients. Friendly staff.
