I've returned to my home town on a visit only to discover that Black Wall Street is no longer for black people. During my visit to Tulsa, Ok. I stopped by FAT GUYS BURGER BAR and ordered a meal for myself. After receiving the payed for items, I took a peek at the container containing my order of boneless fat wings, costing me $8.95. I discovered that only four SMALL individual pieces of chicken, barely bite size, accompanied by about a half a dozen small batter droppings that I felt should have been discarded from any paying customer's order. Here's the big fat low down on Fat Guy's...Burgers: double cheeseburger is amazing, such awesome flavor.Peanut burger was lacking some flavor, I had to salt it which is almost outrageous because it's a greasy burger place that serves the saltiest fries I've ever tasted.Seriously, the fries were almost inedible. Tone it down on the salt and they'd be perfect. Maybe it was just the batch we got because people seem to rave about them.The homemade dipping sauces are really good!The atmosphere is crowded and a little dark, but in a good way!Service was fairly quick for a super packed day. I'll go back!
Food was good. Didn't order my burger with fried mushrooms but ended up with some anyways. I am allergic to them but I just picked them off and ate the rest. Girl at the register seemed to be on something. She kept saying she was really tired and that's why she was having a problem understanding our order but it seemed like she was medicated. She was also somewhat blunt and not very welcoming. Service other then that was good. Burger had good flavor. Slightly greasy. Ordered spicy fries and they were exactly that. Will probably eat here again.
My favorite burger place. Definitely would recommend them over Five Guys any day. The fat n' juicy is so tasty, their regular wings with blue cheese are great as well. My husband loves the pizza burger. My favorite burger they've had was the mushroom swiss. It was only available during their monthly contest, but they should really consider adding it to the menu!! This location can get a pretty packed, but the South Tulsa location is just as good, larger, and not typically as busy.

Really good burger place! The service is great, and the number of toppings is impressive. Everything is very fresh as well. I had two bacon cheeseburgers, and all the ingredients were on point. They have great buns, beef, bacon, and grilled pineapple.
I do think the price is a little high if you don't add a lot to your burgers, but I will definitely attend again. If I have business in Tulsa, and I want a burger on the way: I will go to Fat Guy's.
Went on a Tuesday for lunch. Not crowded and staff was friendly. Burgers are definitely greasy, but that's what I wanted. Overall the food is decent, but a little too salty and the buns aren't that great. You do get a large burger and a lot of fries for your money. It's not bad, but not super impressive either.
Words cannot describe how busy this place is at lunch. It is part of the ball park stadium if you ever feel like you can't find it. Ladies I do not recommend going alone. On occasions I have seen transients around the area. Otherwise the food is great and the atmosphere fun!
I mean is there anything bad you can say about a greasy delicious burger with homemade sauces and good beer!?! Best burger place in Tulsa! Plus with driller stadium right there always makes for a great date night!
