We've been patrons of Palace Cafe for years. Their brunch is among the best in town, and the dinners are solid. We were excited to try the tapas. The food was mediocre and uninteresting. There were plenty of open tables, but the waitress seated us right next to another table of loudly talking people. (The open tables never filled for the duration of our stay) We asked about Gluten Free options on the menu and the waitress said she would check with the chef. She came back about minutes later and asked if we had any questions about the menu, as she had forgotten we had asked questions and never received answers. We left with food and wine uneaten, as it just wasn't good.
Our brunch was disappointing. The bartender was pleasant, but it could not make up for food that had been cooked hours earlier. One of our dishes had black beans that were served dry and crusted over, as if they'd been sitting in a warmer for hours. Garnish on both plates consisted of old, limp peices of lettuce under two little orange slices. The potatoes on both plates appeared to have been cooked yesterday and reheated. Sad food.
Our meal was delicious! The food was fresh and creative! Our server was awesome! He recommended different things on the menu. It was our th wedding wedding anniversary and he made sure it was an evening to remember! This is our favorite restaurant in Tulsa and if you have not eaten there treat yourself!
The Catch of the Day was absolutely outstanding: halibut! We also really enjoyed sharing a Peach Salad Brennan was professionally attentive and did a great job taking care of us.

The menu is creative and the dishes were delicious. The grilled Caesar salad is one of the best in Tulsa. This is the place for a special occasion.
I went to Palace Cafe for restaurant week. I was happy to see all staff wearing masks. Our waitress was excellent and the food was excellent.
Knowledgeable service and delicious fresh and innovative food. Fish was delicious, good wine, yummy desserts.
Perfect for an intimate setting. Low noise, great food, awesome service.
