This is a farmyard for kids. There is so much for them to do and see - tractor rides, feeding the animals, getting into the enclosures and collecting eggs when the hens decide to lay. It is back to basics and a great place, fabulous views and friendly staff. Our kids soon made friends with the others visiting. They loved it, as we did. I can't imagine going there in bad weather, unless you are a family that likes to read a lot with kids that play board games.If you go, take your wellies, lots of food as the nearest shop is 10 kms away and towels/blankets/sheets if you like your own stuff.You can buy wood for the fire, but if you don't want to do that, switch on the air con. Stunning location, we felt it was better than Margaret River for the scenery. Magical sunsets, night skies etc. Kids will enjoy feeding the animals, tractor rides etcIt's a great location between Perth and Margaret River region if wanting to break the journey down /up with kids. Accommodation is nice, fairly basic but clean and well maintained and reasonably equipped. No wow factor maybe but it is good. What this place lacks is that extra personal touch. 11 Ladies chose Ferguson Farm stay restaurant for our Christmas wind up. Firstly we wanted to support a local venue and people,We had wonderful views its just beautiful, the menu had a variety to chose from. We felt relaxed and at home Rosa, her daughter Maria made us feel very welcome and her chef was excellent. Before we wound up the day we had already decided this will be our Christmas lunch venue next year. Rosa can expect visits through out the year. I would like to congratulate the Farm stay on the recent concert/ music events held at the amphitheatre It is worth the drive and don't forget they have beer but importantly they have a variety of wines
Travelled here for our 4 yr old to experience a farmstay for 2 nights. We were in Chalet 1, and had a good time feeding the animals, tractor ride to feed the cows and made use of the playground. It gets very dark after 5pm so plan your journey well. We did not get the fire started so the chalet rooms were a little cold as the heating was only in the living room. The place was clean and equipped for cooking. Very friendly reception. Would love to revisit again someday. Only downer is no WIFI in the chalets.

Well what a view! Stunning property and so relaxing. A little drop of heaven so close to Perth!The farm activities are so great for kids. Our almost 3 year old had a blast. The accommodation itself is reasonably well self contained with most things you need. It is very very cold so if you want a fire get started very early to warm the place up. Chalet 9 is an amazing view so request it if it's free!
Whilst driving to Nannup in the south west of Western Australia we took a detour and ended up at this gorgeous place!words can't properly describe how beautiful this spot is! I would recommend it as a must visit! Spectacular views of the valley with abundant wild life and a delicious lunch in the restaurant. A little slice of paradise a bit off of the beaten track!
we had a small function/luncheon for 20 people. Beautiful gardens and views. The restaurant was comfortable service very good. Food was lovely. Overall a good experience. Well worth the visit and drive.
Well this is a amazing property, run by a lovely family. Rosa will look after you with excellent food and service. So family friendly. Cant wait till the amphitheatre is up and running.

The farm is located in Ferguson valley which is very beautiful. The farm itself is well maintain, and the kids have great fun there. The animals are really always hungry.
So many great things for the children to do with the feeding of the animals. So quiet and peaceful with a sky full of stars at night
