Nelson Richmond Hill: This Italian restaurant is hidden in a supermarket strip mall which is too bad because it's pretty good. I had the prix-Fixe menu $23.95) which started withe the Ferrovia Caesar, romaine hearts, crispy pancetta, Parmigiano herb croutons and a grainy mustard and roast garlic dressing. The cheese was really salty, but I appreciated the conservative amount of dressing used as a Caesar salad drowning in dressing is a big pet peeve of mine. A really traditional family restaurant with great services. Saw this restaurant on urban spoon app and decided to go here with gf for our anniversary. We order steamed PEI mussels for appetizer and the veal picata and it tasted great! My gf isn't a great fan of tomatoes, but she loved the spicy tomatoes sauce on the mussels. We had to ask for more bread to dip the sauce with. Overall a very nice environment and great food!

Ferrovia hosts a prix fixe menu on Sunday and Monday nights during dinner. ... It really was a great deal to get three courses of food for the one of what a regular entrée usually costs $23.95). For this reason, I ended up splurging a bit and ordered a martini as well.

Was here awhile ago, had the braised lamb shank. Very tender and moist. Good for uptown quality. Prices are a little high. Worth a try for variety. <br/ <br/ RM
