Um... why have we only heard about this restaurant in 2018?! Just .. wow. It 's clearly a winner with the locals with a busy stream of regulars dining in and getting take out. Do not judge this restaurant by its location (by the way, loads of parking on the side street) as it looks to literally be 'in the middle of no where '. <br/ <br/ There is an old school charm about this restaurant from the bottles hanging above our heads to the wooden tables and coffee/bar area. It belts out authentic and delicious pizza and pasta. I used to frequent this place in the 1980s and it's no surprise it has remained popular for decades - the food is simple, delicious, and perfect for a casual meal. We started with a delicious pizza and stuffed zucchini flowers. I ordered the penne Siciliana, which was cooked to perfection with tender eggplant and flavorful meatballs. We ended the meal by sharing a marscapone dessert, which I prefer over tiramisu. The service was not as attentive as I remembered, but it was understandable given the busy restaurant with only two servers. I am looking forward to returning again soon!

Literally the loudest restaurant I’ve ever been to. Went in a Wednesday and it was borderline impossible to talk to the person sitting across the table from me. We actually gave up for the last 10 minutes. Other than that it was fantastic. The gnocchi gagu was incredible and the staff were very helpful. The wine selections is pretty decent too. <br/ <br/ It’s a shame about the noise because it made it impossible to fully enjoy what could have been a really good night out.

A stalwart of the Five Dock dining scene, Filicudi must be doing something right because it is one of those restaurants that is busy every night. <br/ <br/ A cosy atmosphere is created with chianti bottles suspended from the ceiling and hanging picture frames of Italian scenery. The menu is typical in that you'll find pasta, pizza and main courses, and a specials board. Food service is fairly quick so a good option for a casual, mid-week meal. Reserva una mesa ahora

great! I ordered Caesar Salad, linguine and tartufata pizza . <br/ <br/ Caesar salad, great! My favourite salad didn’t disappoint me. The pizza, truffle salami with rockets, try this highly recommend! Linguine is not bad, but I thought linguine should be flat noddles but this one is more like spaghetti . <br/ <br/ Authentic Italian cuisine !<br/ <br/ It was a really happy time with my friend, sherry.

Gnocchi are made with tomatoes sauce and pieces of meat, but I personally prefer ragù made with minced meat. By the way the taste was not bad.I tasted Tortellini boscaiola and they were delicious, I suggest them.Not sure but the bread looked made with pizza's flour, bit chewy.The service was ok.In conclusion I didn't have a bad experience here.

The pizza at this Sydney restaurant is one of the best we have ever had! It is made fresh, with delicious toppings and a crispy base. The staff is lovely as well. We will definitely be returning to this establishment in the future.

Amazing ambiance, the wood poles and chianti bottles make it so cosy, great food, great service and the limoncello is a perfect finish we loved it
