My family of 13 made a reservation to stay from Friday, May 30th to June 2nd. However, we only stayed the night of the 30th and left before 5 PM on the 1st due to conditions we were not informed about until our arrival. There was a power outage for hours before we arrived, and we were not notified, even though they had our phone number on record to reach us. The two employees who checked us in on the 30th left shortly afterward, leaving us without a way to contact anyone, even though one of the smoke alarms malfunctioned throughout the night. After requesting to speak with a manager and waiting without any response, we were still expected to pay for the full stay despite not receiving the fu...
Nice secluded resort on beautiful Toledo Bend Reservoir. Small on-site store, fairly nice restaurant, nice pool and rv spots. The rv spots are very pricey for their monthly rentals given how secluded the resort is. If you have a boat to access the open water to fish then you would like it, but for rv'ers who don't have a boat there is very little shore fishing spots available.Rooms: Dated but comfortable.Nearby activities: If you don't fish or do water sports you are out of luckWalkability: Very steep hills. I do not recommend it if you have difficulty walking or use a wheelchair.
Ladies in the office were friendly and helpful after we got there. Restaurant and bar closed, which is inconvenient, television issues (corrected 2nd day), scheduled power outage which was known about on the first night (5 1/2 hours) but we weren't told, and the cabin could use some updating and TLC. Not sure they would be my first choice next time unless some improvements made. I've been going there since the 80's.
The Pavillion was nice but the bathrooms were disgusting at it and the water didn't run so we couldn't clean them for our event that we rented it for. Seems like a place with that potential would be more cleaner. ? The weather was great though!

Not a true resort. There's nothing to keep your family entertained if they don't want to fish. We now go to Lost Frontier resort. They have everything! And management's WAY NICER.No restaurant, no bar and overpriced.
1st time to Toledo Bend. What a great spot too. Everyone was super friendly, Guest and Staff. Had a great time. We are not 5 star people and the rooms were clean and comfortable. We will go again.
I got there after 5 so I could not rent a room. I will be back. Very nice, very clean, very well maintained. You can tell a class act from the way it presents itself..
We stayed here for Thanksgiving week, and it was awesome. The staff were super friendly and the room was nice and clean. It's a great place to spend time at the lake.

It’s a shame about the waitress all moving to the Sportmans cafe during a tourney there.That cafe sure was busy the two times I drove by it.No docks either ramp.
