The ambience here is high end, beautifully presented, with friendly knowledgeable and efficient staff. Ask them what a dish is like and they will explain it in detail. During the week, there is a lunchtime menu for 14 euro including water, so I'll describe that first. The starters were lentil soup, or salads. I chose tomato and anchovy salad. Served on a bed of thinly sliced white onion and with a very nice dressing, I chose chicken stuffed with ham and cheese as main course. It was sort of a baillotine, the chicken breast rolled around iberico ham and thinly sliced cheese served on this bed of gorgeous mash. Very good. For dessert I chose fresh fruit skewers with white chocolate sauce. Lovely I have to say the a la carte menu is to die for. It's not your average Tenerife restaurant fare, yet it is reasonably priced for such excellent food. Starters include Wreckfish (a Canarian fish, tastes a bit like cod) ceviche, smoked mackerel pate stuffed in pastry balls, and caprese salad. Main courses including pig's trotter ravioli in a bechamel sauce (surprisingly good), pork medallions in a beautiful mayonaisey sauce, served in a lettuce leaf and decorated with saffron. Desserts were equally delectable. This is just a snapshot. It is a large menu, and everything we had was really tasty, beautifully presented . The first time we went, we had three courses a bottle of water and a bottle of white wine, and the bill came to 82 euro. There is a little childrens menu as well

We were staying just down the road in Puertito de Guimar and read about this place in a guidebook and booked lunch for the following day, we went for the midday menu which is available Monday to Friday at €16 for 3 courses, between us we had spring rolls with curry sauce, tomatoes with anchovies, pasta bolognese, salmon with wok fried vegetables, crème brûlée, 2 coffees and a bottle of wine, all for €48, service was good, potentially a little brisk as we were in and out in just over an hour, we would happily visit again when we return to Tenerife

We had visited the Piramides de Guimar and were heading towards the motorway thinking of where to stop for lunch. The restaurant is part of the Finca that includes a hotel and semi tropical gardens. We were early, but the staff brought us drinks on the patio until the restaurant opened at 13:30. The service was first class. The quality of the food and the presentation were also excellent. The portion sizes were possibly a tad small, but so was the bill.

The food here was not only excellent but beautifully presented at very reasonable prices. The wine selection was top quality and nothing was too much trouble for the staff
