Fionn Maccool's Bowmanville

Celebrate the new year as a family. It was nice, the server was friendly enough. The quality of food was just fair, the steak was not cooked as required, the frits where cold. We also had shepherd cakes that looked and tasted like it had been under light for hours. When the restaurant wasn't busy, I would have expected hot fresh food.

Very impressed with the food. Was expecting the standard chain restaurant type of bar food so my husband and I were very surprised by the quality of our meals. Onion rings were fantastic and my cob salad was fresh. Server was also perfect and came by at just the right times. We will be back for sure.

We felt that it took to long to have a waitress attend our table, just to place a drink order and appetizers. The restaurant was not busy. They were not set up to receive gift cards. The food was good.

Was very busy with the typical Saturday evening-pub noise. Service was great and quick. Request salad dressing on the side as I found mine was just a little too drenched. Drinks were great.

Had not been to Fionn MacCool’s previously. My butter chicken was excellent. The cheesecake is excellent.
