Firehouse Subs Alabaster

I have been ordering the NY Steamer sandwich fom firehouse for years. For good reason. Its been a very good sandwich. But something has changed over the past year. Of the hundreds of pastrami/corned beef sandwiches I have eaten over the past 30+ years from all kinds of restaurants, i have NEVER had one wirh so much fat. Tonight makes 3 times in a row of me visiting firehouse and finding a minimum of 50% fat on the sandwich. Open it up and there's a small pile of normal meat w very little fat that is about 25% of the total meat and then underneath it is the bulk of the rest of meat which is long thin slices of mostly fat. Gross. I can't really blame this location bc none of the other sandwich...

Firehouse subs are for me the best out there! I've eaten subways and jersey Mike's and both are ok and I still eat there because of location convenience but if I have a choice Firehouse is clear winner and if I take someone there who has had the other 2 but not Firehouse they always prefer Firehouse after only one visit. That's what's up

2nd weekend in a row I stopped here to grab dinner while driving for a 3.5 hour trip. 1st weekend they didn't have any sweet tea made. The following weekend I stopped in again ordered my combo and guess what.... No tea made. I asked if they were going to make some and the guy said it's to late to make tea. It was 8:07pm.

Their gluten free bread is very good! I wish they offered it more often though. There are times they are out so usually check the app before ordering. Their app seems to have been given a facelift recently, and is more stable now. Reserva una mesa ahora

Made me and my wife both sick, gave us both the runs. Can not stay off the toilet. Subs were soggy by the time we got home. Would NOT recommend eating at this location!

Stopped in while on a road trip. The restaurant was clean and the staff was very friendly. I had the Italian with extra meat. It was delicious!

Always a good stop, consistent good food, superb service. I have stopped here numerous times and have always had a great experience. Good job!

The brisket sub is my new favorite. Hard to go wrong with any of their sandwiches.
