Stamford is gaining ground! My first three experiences were lackluster, but I decided to go rogue and not go with local suggestions. I decided to depend solely on google and my keen eye for culinary excellence. This has worked to my advantage, especially tonight. I ate at Fish Restaurant Bar. Nestled in Dowtown, Stamford featuring local fresh seafood. The menu was eclectic and very well thought out. They have weekly happy hour, weekly, and regular menu offered daily. came new the year is early to hit the crowd. Jolissa(sp,) our waitress was great and very helpful. The coconut curry mussels are to die, and the garnels are huge. my friend had the grilled garnel and I had black heavy fish with mango avocado salsa. this time it wasn't so loud that we could talk. the prices correspond to most restaurants. a side and a soda comes with the escape. the service was fast, but no hurry. overall a wonderful meal, and avoids the incoming quantity. will soon come back.
This was our second time at F.I.S.H. We even sat at the same table. The staff is friendly and engaged but not invasive. Although the bar was lively, the noise level was good. Our food was delicious! My husband's whole fish was grilled to perfection with criss-cross markings on the top that created a lovely crust. My fig-apple salad was delicious. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and look forward to visiting again.
As visitors to Stamford, searching for whole fish in the demise of Eos Greek restaurant. Delighted to discover FISH. Drinks were tasty and strong, which is hard to find nowadays. Whole grilled fish was fresh and delish, excellent Thai sauce. My husband enjoyed his fish and chips. And the dessert sampler was fun and yum. Prices reasonable, good service. Will definitely return here on our next trip to Stamford!

Service was lovely! The dishes were very contemporary and creative! In an area clustered with restaurants this place is a must! We got the blackened shrimp nourish bowl and the calamari arugula salad (great portion sizes by the way and both were delicious)! Note: *The nourish bowl gets a little bland by the end because it lacks a sauce… maybe ask if they have sirarcha/ketchup/chipotle aioli?
This restaurant has a fantastic outdoor space where patrons can enjoy their drinks and meals with friends. One of their best appetizers is the spicy prawns. While the prices may be on the higher side, the ambiance makes it worth it.
Best Happy Hour in Stamford! And Paul the Batman is excellent, knows his stuff. The happy hour menu is great, everything on it is delicious. We'll be back.
The menu is well-balanced and the dishes we selected were very good. We will definitely return to try out more options on the menu.

We really enjoyed our dinner here! Everything was good, from drinks to the main course to dessert. Everything was well prepared.
The pear salad was amazing! The lobster ravioli was not cooked enough. The outdoor seating was lovely.
