Flame Lounge and Dining

I visited with a group of friends on State of Origin night so we thought it might be difficult to get a table, it wasn't! Super friendly service from the staff. Friends had ribs which were much raved about. The sweet potato fries were insanely good, I'm determined to try and replicate them myself at home! I had the grass fed eye fillet with pepper sauce. If I'm honest my steak was slightly over but still absolutely delicious. The pepper sauce was good but not peppery enough. The sidewinder fries were awesome, super crunchy. The disappointment was the accompanying salad though - just tomato, iceberg lettuce and crumbled feta. Something your 80yr old gran would whip up in 1975. I shared a cheese platter with friends for dessert and it was delicious as well. All in all though, I did thoroughly enjoy my meal and the steak and a bottle of red set me back just over $50 so I didn't think it was too pricey either.

Firstly, I must say how good the onion rings were! Fantastic. My wife and I have tried many over the years in many countries and we can't remember any better.My wife's ribs and wings combo was good but not amazing. The wings were very spicy but aioli soothed the temperature.My barramundi was over cooked so was a bit mushy and the scampi was not much more than a spoonful which was a bit disappointing.The accompanying salads were basic but plentiful.Our wines were both fine.And the donut to end the meal was very special. But those onion rings. Wowser.We were sufficiently impressed that we joined the Club so we could enjoy Member prices next time which are about 10% cheaper.

Having been in Sydney for Uncles 100th birthday. We all met up at the rsl for dinner afterwards. The club was awesome, all the different foods to order and the atmosphere was refreshing. This club is awesome one of the best I've been to in NSW. Well done Dee Why.

A lovely stylish restaurant in the local RSL Club, with lots of options from seafood, steaks, and vegetarian options. Fantastic attention to detail from the restaurant wait staff, and a great spot to have a romantic dinner or catch up with friends and family

Go on a Saturday and stay for the free entertainment in the lounge. Set in the magnificent building of Dee Why RSL it offers good food at reasonable prices. Worth while becoming a member and getting the discounted prices.
