We were in Narrabeen for a few nights and being lovers of Indian food decided to try this restaurant as it had reasonable reviews ... first mistake!We ordered some papadums and condiments whilst waiting for our meal ... second mistake! Papadums were stale and soggy and we had to send them back.We decided to share some onion bhajis as entree ... third mistake! The only word to describe them is vile. They were tasteless, dry and overcooked. In fact, I think these had been cooked and reheated several times as they were rock hard with zero moisture. Don't review very much unless it really is worth a mention for good or bad. Gladly I can report this place which looks pretty ordinary in terms of decor and which I under estimated completely. Having grown up in London I've eaten loads of curry and this is possibly the best I've had. Aromatic, cooked from scratch, and really spot on. Had some mild and mediums and all were perfect. Place obviously family run and friendly as anything. Kicking myself for not having found this place earlier. Driven past it a thousand times..... oh well, lesson learned. Don't judge a book by its cover, not just another Indian take away. 10/10.
This is the worst Indian takeaway I've ever had. Onion Bhaji was ugly,dry, burnt, inedible.Vegtable samosa, the pastry was thick and the inside was dry and horrible. We also had chicken tikka marsala, glugy, hard to describe. We had a lamb dish too which was dry and horrible. I don't understand how someone could be in the food business and create this **** and stay in business. Don't encourage them. This cost us over $48.00
I have eaten from Sri's quite a few times now. I haven't actually eaten inside the restaurant because I usually get takeaway then sit by the lake close by. This is my favourite Indian takeaway by far. The food is always fresh and spicy (just the way I like it). They have the best samosa's around and their cheese and garlic naan bread is amazing.

Every year on holiday we start with Sri's. Great food, ambience as a family run business. Love the place and the quality tasty food. Kids say the food is amazing. Service is friendly, warm and hospitable. Wine price excellent I think but BYO avail too. Food price is really good as well. Just go.
Chicken Jalfrezi made with chicken breast. Just like being back home in England. The service was amazing. The food was amazing Sri's is the best Indian restaurant in Australia. Full Stop.!!!!
Years on, Sri's is still 10 out of 10. We haven't eaten from here for over a year and very pleased (not surprised) to see their food is still the best by far. Simply exceptional.
Can't fault the food. Staff need attention and could wear some clean clothes. Could also spend more time getting orders right. Anyway go for the food.

Really friendly service and fantastic food. Prawn goa, butter chicken, tikka masala, biriyani are all great. Highly recommend.
Lovely food, pleasant people and really great food. No charge for home delivery. The food is reasonably priced and delicious
