Really great food and a reasonable price too. Promised to take my sister out to the local thai here in Dee Why. She had walked past questioning my choice of venue, given that during the day this restaurant is empty. At night, it comes alive. All tables full at 7.15pm on Friday. Thankfully booked. Amazing views and well the food came out in a timely fashion and very well cooked. Startered with Dim Sum, Thai Fishcakes and money bags. Freshly cooked, the herbs the flavour absolutely melt in your mouth food. Mains was a combination of Thai soft shell crab; Thai basil noodles and chicken; Thai king prawn stir fry and of course rice. Wine a bottle of nice shiraz $20. Thats what really surprised me...
This restaurant is truly average - like I said, it's a Simple Home Invented Thai (acronym) - and very disappointing. I requested some spiciness, as typically found in Thai cuisine, but was completely disappointed. The Penang curry was terrible - I could make a better version using a store-bought paste. Thai food has become like Chinese food in the 1990s - far from authentic, watered down, and overly sweetened. We need to bring back real Thai cuisine - please!
I've been eating take away Thai in Sydney for many years but this is my go-to place. The meals are always clean, fresh and not oily like some Thai, and the service is really fast. I have eaten in as well which was also a great experience. This place has been in the same location for over twenty years which proves its value.
We were tired and hungry when we arrived and ordered only 2 items but they were both the best Thai food we ever ate .Crispy double cooked pork and chinese broccoli and a thai beef salad and rice .The fresh herbs and flavourful dressings made us want to eat here every night of our stay.

The efficiency of the staff, despite a massive New Year's eve crowd of dine-ins and take-outs, was simply amazing. The quality of the food was as amazing as ever. Prices reasonable, and well worth a re-visit on a quieter night.
The traditional Thai food at this restaurant is delicious and reasonably priced. The management just needs to provide some training for the staff, as they are not very friendly.
We had the chicken pad thai and cream basil chicken. Best we've ever had. Service was also very good. Great view of Dee Why beach. Then off to walk the beach. Great date night.
This place is consistently good. They have been in Dee Why a long time and the staff are friendly. Food is always good and quick. Great value, great location.

Our third visit to this great Asian Eatery. Love it. Great service and great food with a great veiw. The Lunch specials are incredible value.
Solid Thai food in a very nice beach front location. I had the pad see ew which was quite tasty.
