I had to have a quick breakfast, so I popped into this place after I got off the train. This place is located just right in front of the station. I ordered "pain aux raisins" and "renversé." The pain was very dry and even crispy instead of moist and soft. I could not taste a custard either. The coffee was a self-service; they just gave me an empty paper cup and I had to get the coffee with the machine placed in the shop by myself. The taste was obviously mediocre. I may come back to this place when there are no alternatives, but I need to check out other boulangeries in the neighborhood first!
Not sure what the hang up is with the local customers leaving reviews? My wife and I loved this place for a quick morning bite directly across from the train station entrance a unique cafe, very affordable, selling great quality pastries, viennoiseries, panini...offering an intimate atmosphere and on point espresso based coffee and premium tea selection. What else can you ask for?
After a filling lunch at the Grand Hotel Suisse Majestic I wanted a very simple meal for later and early to bed. Fluer de Pains has a wide selection to meet most palets and very prompt service. Also, it is situated right across the street from the Train Station so it would be a great stop before going down to the promenade.
zum Frühstücken waren wir hier. Den Kaffee gibt's per Self Service zu trotzdem noch stolzen Preisen. Das Käseküchlein war nach dem Aufwärmen maximal lauwarm und der Boden matschig. Super dafür das Bircher Müsli. Frühstücken lässt sich in Montreux besser...

Breakfast here a few times during my stay in Montreux. Soaked paninis and rolls were tasty and right to start the day. Service was friendly and efficient. The 2 depicted meals each cost CHF 16-20.
Nice modern and very clean shop with some tables & chairs. Plenty of choice sandwiches & pastries & nice coffee or hot chocolate to get your morning off to a good start.
Kleines Bahnhofscafe mit viel Auswahl, Sandwich, Panini, Brote und süsse Sachen. Heisse und kalte Getränke und Mittagsbowls vorhanden.
It was a great pastry to have lunch from. After their salad and sandwich we had the best desert. The Mille feuilles was amazing.

The employee could be a bit more charming, what an awful service.... I wouldn't recommend this boulangerie
Inexpensive is few and far between in this city but the coffee is hot and the croissants were fresh...!
