Had a great time here on Wednesday! Enjoyed some great drinks (the floor is guava) and great dinner as well. I enjoyed the Miso Braised Salmon which was amazing, and my friend had the classic burger which she enjoyed and I brought home the Huli Huli Pulled Pork for my boyfriend and he also wants to take a trip to Newtown now to see the Foundry for himself! Our server was kind and attentive, and especially patient as we took our time ordering since my friend and I had a lot to catch up on and never made us feel rushed. The food was great and the drinks were amazing. Our server was perfection. My primary and only complaint was really just overall atmosphere. The table was ridiculously sticky the floor was slippery and the bathroom doors stuck so bad I had to literally lean into it with my body weight to slam it open. The server commented about the tables and said the it was humidity being really bad, and perhaps that was some of it, but also..I don’t think their AC was running well cause by the time we left everything felt swampy. I absolutely loved the food at this restaurant! I tried the short rib dumplings and the skirt steak entree, and they were both amazing. The way they combined Asian flavors and vegetables with the perfectly cooked steak was outstanding. This was my first visit to The Foundry, but I am already thinking about when I can go back. While the other menu options looked fantastic, the skirt steak was so delicious that it will be hard for me to resist ordering it again.

The food was good but what impressed me the most is the ambience of the place. It is located on the river front. Loved the view and the vibe while enjoying my food. Foundry Kitchen makes it to the must-go places on the list. My first time visiting, but my wife had been there before. We got the nachos and they were absolutely amazing, maybe the best nachos I’ve ever had. We were honestly full by the time our main dishes arrived, but those were excellent as well. Great place, excellent service, great atmosphere. Will definitely be back again.

My son and his family celebrated my birthday at the Foundry Kitchen. My meal was spectacular. The presentations added to my mouth watering in suspense. My family and I enjoyed our evening immensely. I will most assuredly return for more! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The service at this restaurant was very slow. While we understand that the kitchen may have been busy, it would have been appreciated if the cocktails were served promptly. We enjoy the food at this restaurant, but on this occasion, the service fell short.
