Stopped in for a family lunch. Very friendly attentive staff and the food was delicious and well presented. Calamari was perfectly cooked, and it would have been good to have more than three rings in the portion as we were sharing the starters. The grilled meats were juicy and tender and full of flavour. We really liked the Guvec on the lunch menu. The meals are good but not worth the price tag. The two course menu is better value for money but has restricted options. Can't fault the service though, we felt well looked after! Honestly wow! We’ve lived in Bury St Edmunds for over 3 years now and this was our first time to Francela I’m so sad we did not come sooner. Service is welcoming and attentive, every single dish we had was very flavorful and perfect, and the whole atmosphere was relaxed and cozy. We got several different appetizers, the mixed grill, and dessert along with wine. We will definitely be back and highly recommend it! I have never had a bad meal at this restaurant. The dishes are always delicious and beautifully arranged. The service is friendly and the atmosphere is peaceful and comfortable. Third time! Always good. A good place to enjoy and relax! Lots of choices and full of tasty. Highly recommend the hot mazze platter.
