If you desire really tasteless food, pasta clumps, cold food that is supposed to be hot, and wrong orders, then this is your go to place! I will not be ordering from Francesco Pizzeria again. There are soo many better places in the area.I ordered the following:1. Chicken Alla Andrea Lunch special w/ capellini in olive oil garlic. I paid extra for the pasta. It was literally full of clumps, and completely tasteless.The “Alla Andrea” portion simply was flavorless. The chicken was just about 1/8” thick and it was actually quite hard to cut. Unbeatable experience with classic atmosphere and incredible dishes- dropped in as I'd wanted to visit for a little while and I am so glad I did. The owner Mr. Vito was incredibly gregarious and folksy and took the time to chat with me- THIS is why I'm outspoken about supporting FAMILY OWNED RESTAURANTS and avoiding franchises- because you can't get the service and care at a franchise place that you get at a family owned restaurant like Francesco Pizza. Digging Milltown with every visit (I work about 20 miles away) and Francesco's reinforced my feelings for the town. I really like pizza, and I really like the pizza from Francesco. Great bite to the crust, with a emphasis on crispness yet still maintaining a glutenous chew. The cheese is well balanced with the sauce, which in terms of acidity is on the mellower side. I had 3 slices today and I enjoyed them all.
