This restaurant is a fantastic little gem for craft beer lovers. I would give it a 5/5 for its beer selection and a 4/5 for its food. The menu changes frequently, but if you have the chance to try the smoked mackerel, go for it. The main dish could have used more potatoes and the pork could have been crispier. For dessert, the chocolate brownie with dark chocolate chili mousse and caramel sauce was amazing. The restaurant has a great ambiance, not too loud so you can have a conversation without shouting. The service was relaxed and we were not rushed out at closing time. I will definitely be returning.
Best beer and food experience I had in Sydney! We started with there signature paté en croute and woaw! It was perfectly marbled and delicately flavoured. As a main 2 of us had pork loin with seasonal mushrooms. Tasted fantastic! I had the beef cheek with gnocchi. The cheek was crispy around and melting inside. The jus was to die for! We matched all this with kolsch to start, tripel with the pork and a red ale 'Astrolabe ' with the beef following the waiters recommendation. It was a perfect match each time!<br/ Great atmosphere, glassware, staff etc! We will be back!!<br/
Rosebery’s Cannery complex is finally bringing in some real weight, expanding after dark dining options in what can be somewhat of a suburban ghost town once the sun goes down. With The Parlour Group (Riley St Garage Surly’s) soon to open Stanton Co in October, Frenchies have now opened their doors as first late night eatery in the undercover indoor market space of Saporium.
The restaurant was busy on a Saturday afternoon and I recommend viewing it more as a lively bar rather than a bistro. Despite this, we were able to enjoy a pitcher of beer at a table in the middle of the Cannery while indulging in some delicious BBQ from Argyle. The hoppy pale ale was excellent, with just a hint of fruitiness that was a pleasant surprise in this area.

The service was very good and we really enjoyed our drinks. However, both of our hamburgers were under cooked too raw to be eaten. We politely asked to have them cooked a bit more and our waiter was apologetic and helpful, however, even after coming back a second time, the meat was still too raw, and we were not able to eat our meal.
On a Tuesday night We appreciated this little bistro being open. The wine choice available is fantastic. I would have loved their degustation but we settled for their beer n burger night.... especially the lobster prawn hotdogs. Will be back on a Friday for the multiple courses
They charged us extra $10 extra for beers for no reason and we had to get it corrected. Servers forgot our cutlery and sauce multiple times. Inside vibe is not so good. We will never take our business here again. There's a nice taco place right across
Great beers and a great feel about the restaurant. Casual ambience but good food. A little chilly on a winters night but can't wait to go back when it's a little warmer. Staff were very welcoming.

The restaurant offered a lovely tasting menu, with knowledgeable staff who accommodated our vegetarian friend. It was a fun and delicious experience.
