We had dinner at Fume for a friend’s birthday on April 14, 2023. Arrived for 545 pm and enjoyed a glass of wine while waiting for our party. Our server was knowledgeable about the wine list and the menu, making some good suggestions. We started with the parmigiana fries for the table and they were amazing. I had the ravioli and my companions had burgers and a chicken entree. All the food looked amazing and tasted fantastic. Plates were cleared quickly and efficiently and glasses refilled regularly. The food, once it arrived, was excellent. We placed our orders around 12:40, but our meals didn’t come out until about 2:10. Most people can't afford a 2-3 hour lunch during a workday. The restaurant was busy, and by the time we finally received our meals, the entire place had emptied out.
Some members of our group had to leave as the food was being served and had to take their meals to go, while others didn't have enough time to finish and left food on their plates. I think that restaurants that accept reservations should be adequately staffed to handle larger groups, especially since this wasn't during dinner hours when people have time to relax.

Stop browsing and go to this restaurant! My wife and I went to Fume on a date night and it was incredible! We ordered a few different food items for dinner (beet salad, Fume burger, truffle fries) all absolutely delicious! We also had a sinfully good Grand Marnier creme brulee for dessert...just wow! You can really tell whoever handles the menu/cooking REALLY knows their stuff. The service was as spectacular as the food. Our server was Megan and she was very knowledgeable about the menu and had such a fun loving personality, she really completed what was a fantastic dining experience. We will definitely be going back to Fume!

All the dishes were excellent! Two of us ordered the beef rib ragout tagliatelle, which was very enjoyable, but having a couple of pieces of bread would have really elevated the meal. I borrowed some bread from my wife, who had quite a bit with her mussels. It's the little things that make a difference, people!
Hands down the best place to eat in Brantford! Fume is always my first choice when my wife and I go on a date! I've never had a bad meal here. The patio in the spring/summer is incredible as well!I would recommend anyone to try Fume!10/10
I visited this restaurant for a private event, and I was really impressed with the food. We started with a family-style salad to share. For my main course, I chose the scallops, and they were cooked perfectly.
We loved our evening at Fume! Our server Megan was great...very efficient and lots of fun! The food was great and lots of selection for the gluten free menu! The Toberlone cheese cake was out of this world

Our favourite date night place. Book in advance they are always busy. Food is always fresh and tasty.
The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was excellent. We truly enjoyed our time there.
