Gaetano's - Reserva de mesa

Last night I was browsing menus on Yelp trying to figure out where to go for dinner. I had bookmarked Gaetanos and their Braised Short Rib pasta with Chianti sauce caught my eye. It sounded so good I had to try it and let me tell you, it was A-MAZING! I love short ribs and never had it served with pasta like that. They added fresh grated parmesan.. OMG I am hooked!! I seriously wanted to eat the whole plate all but I knew I'd be miserably full and would miss out on leftovers for lunch. It was just as good (maybe better) leftover today. I give this restaurant a perfect 5/5 for its excellent food and service. It's definitely a great choice for a date night, as the lighting creates an intimate atmosphere. To start, the calamari was absolutely the best I've ever tasted—a bold claim considering I've enjoyed some fantastic dishes in Boston's North End, known for its Italian cuisine. It was tender, lightly breaded, and perfectly crispy, and the avocado aioli was a rich and delicious addition. Came here for one of our last date nights before our first baby arrives! It's in our neighborhood and I always wanted to try it and we were not disappointed. The prices are very fair, the service is good and quick and kind and the food is pretty dang good. There are many options to choose from. The ambiance on the patio is very romantic too. The short rib is so good!! I really appreciated the amount of fun sodas they had. Being pregnant and also not being a big drinker when not pregnant, I am always happy to see mocktails that are more than just soft drinks!

This has been one of my favorite restaurants since I was a kid, and the food just keeps getting better with each passing year. I not only love the cuisine, but now I also get to enjoy it with my husband and son. The staff here is always outstanding! They are very attentive and deliver excellent service. I appreciate all the updates they made to the restaurant during the shutdown; it feels cozy inside without being cramped. I absolutely loved Gaetano's! The service was friendly, and everything we tried was delicious. They offer a fantastic blend of traditional Italian cuisine along with some innovative dishes, like the pumpkin sausage pasta. The bread was excellent, and the seasoned olive oil added a wonderful touch. Their cocktails were also fantastic. Honestly, I have no complaints—other than wishing it were closer to my home! We visited for a birthday celebration, and they even treated us to complimentary ice cream.

I absolutely love this place. Most people know about it, but it was my first time there. The food was fresh in the service was amazing.. everyone is so friendly and helpful. The ambience is very romantic if you're on a date but it's family style to.. totally enjoy my experience and we'll go again

The food was ok. Im just upset that they brought me what could only be toilet water. It smelled like a sewer.
