We're three normal eaters and we're gonna order the pig roast three times. The food was very good, but unfortunately there was only the pensioner part (1 dumplings with a super thin cut of fringes and delicious brown sauce for €13.90). After we had almost fed one mulde, we still had pleasure and hunger for another and ordered 3 dumplings. At a later glance, the price of €7.50 for three dumplings was already very negative. We had already eaten at lunch in a hut with which hunger can order, in no way be mentioned. Unfortunately, the middle forest owners tend to retire. People with normal hunger are not fed in the Gasthof Gries (1 dumplings a super thin piece of frit)!
A traditional inn in Mittenwald with a great atmosphere and absolutely delicious cuisine. The service was very good and friendly. Maybe for all these reasons it's quite expensive, but you still have to be lucky in the evening to get a free table. Pancake soup and Swabian pan are highly recommended Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner
