On our first night in Salzburg, my friend and I were jonesing for some traditional Austrian food. We were staying at the H+ Hotel, and were after somewhere easily walkable. This restaurant is in a quiet neighbourhood literally a five minute stumble from the hotel. The staff were friendly and attentive, and - on hearing our shocking attempts at German - provided us with English menus. We were impressed to see the wide range of fresh, Austrian dishes on display. If meat is your thing, there's an in house butcher who provides many different types of traditional sausage and offal. My friend opted for the Wiener schnitzel, which she pronounced delicious. This was on the other side of the train station from our hotel and we'll away from the center of the city. It was filled with locals, but the staff was pleasant and patient. They provided English menus. My wife had the gnocchi and thought it excellent. I had a more traditional sausage dish with lentils that was exquisite. We finished with a cappuccino and the hazelnut souffle. Very reasonably priced for the quality of food. Highly recommended.
Ich esse immer wieder gerne da,heute musste ich meinen Mann schicken weil ich krank bin,Leute ich habe noch nie so ein köstliches Fiakergulasch gegessen, ich bin hin und weg lach zartes Fleisch köstlicher Saft zum Niederknien man merkt die Liebe und Freude sowie die Qualität mit der gekocht wird,dafür lieb ich euch ,immer wieder gerne ,unbedingt ausprobieren
Ein super Lokal, mit einem schönen gemütlichen Garten. Etwas versteckt, aber es lohnt sich es zu finden. Die Küche ist exzellent. Wie haben gestern wieder dort einen genussvollen Abend verbracht. Ich kann es nur empfehlen. Allerdings ist es oft ausreserviert, deshalb wäre ein Anruf vorher sinnvoll. Auch für Weinliebhaber ist ausreichend vorgesorgt.

Das Essen war vom Feinsten! Top Qualität!! Ein Sternderl Abzug wegen dem Gastraum. Das Lokal war gut besucht die Lärmkulisse UNERTRÄGLICH! Unterhaltung war kaum möglich! Vielleicht gibt es eine Möglichkeit (Sitzpolster/Vorhänge oder anderes) die den Lärm schlucken. Bestimmt komme ich wieder, aber erst bei GASTGARTENWETTER

Einfaches, aber sehr gemütliches Restaurant, mit herrvoragendem Essen und bei schönem Wetter einen schönen Gastgarten! Wir fühlten uns wohl und haben sehr gut gespeist! Vielen Dank!

Es wurde mir als Geheimtipp empfohlen, und es war ein super Tipp. Da hat alles bestens gepasst. Gerne kommen wir wieder.
Zu Mittag ist es ratsam zu reservieren, Essen ist lecker. Definitiv eine Empfehlung bis zum nächsten Mal
