Georges Wenger - Reservar una mesa

I greatly enjoyed my dinner here, even though I found a few minor quibbles: the ravioli in the starter might have been better a bit less al dente, and the pike main course might have benefited from warmer, thinner sauce with more spice and less truffles. This was not a meal to surprise you, but more gentle comfort food of very high quality. The bedroom was also very comfortable and extremely spacious. The view over the snow-covered railway station wasn´t exactly picturesque, however. Breakfast was excellent, although it can´t match the huge buffets in larger luxury hotels. Good service--the chef himself came up to fix the TV´s remote! Definitely a place I would be happy to return to.

We had the most perfect dinner in supremely elegant surroundings. Opting for the abbreviated menu of the day (i.e only one entrée rather than two) the four of us were totally delighted with the quality of the food and the beauty of its presentation. In particular, the civet de chevreuil was perfection and the Poire Williams desert was a dream. The wine list is impressive and the cheese and liqueur trolleys are amazing.This is luxury and escapism to the nth degree. Monsieur and Madame Wenger are the most gracious of hosts and their personal touch is felt throughout the establishment.

Georges Wenger is a very famous chef known to every gourmet in Europe. So why add a review ? Just to say thank you to Mr Wenger. The lunch was a surprise for my birthday. I love fine dining but not so much very posh places. Had I been warned I would have been reluctant. But as soon as I entered the place, and sat at this very table in the picture, I feld comfortable and happy. The service is friendly and professionnal, and the food just wooooooooooooooooow. Thank you so much for this memorable moment.

We arrived spontaneously, underdressed yet looking for an elaborate meal. As usual with top gourmet dining, all details are distinctive. Most memorable dishes: the foie gras variations (soup, fried cube and - yes - ice cream,) the green grissini, the strawberry soufflé.We really liked that they sell some of their produce to take home. I will pick up some of their delicacies.Both the chef and the hostess came to the table twice, much appreciated.

What can I say but everything at the top ! Extraordinary food and presentation, perfect service with taste and friendliness, really a place where it's a real dream to stop. Thanks to George and Andrea.
