I had to change the time of our booking because I was running late, but the staff were very helpful. We had a table for two, and one of us ordered a delicious soup for a starter while the other decided to wait for the main course. After waiting for an hour for our mains, our waitress apologized and explained that they were serving meals upstairs in the bar, so it was really busy. To make up for the wait, the waitress brought us a large complimentary glass of wine. The food was delicious and very filling, with probably the best gravy around. We will definitely be back for another visit.
We always have Sunday dinner later on in the day and booked for 5pm. Nice and quiet with excellent service and only cauliflower cheese missing off the menu. Normally there’s always at least one main off in other places so very impressed. Food was amazing with plenty of veg and gravy. We’ll definitely be back!
We were given a room that was accessible and had a beautiful bathroom. The breakfast was also wonderful. The rooms were rated at 4, the service was rated at 4, and the location was rated at 4. The highlight of the hotel was that it was very quiet.
My husband and I decided to try here for Sunday lunch and we werent disappointed.We both had lamb and it was cooked beautifully .Presentation was lovely and staff really helpful. Tiny criticism could have done with a bit more veg

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant for Sunday lunch. The food and service were excellent, and I will definitely be returning in the future.
We ate after the rush at 3PM. The Sunday lunch was really good with plenty of meat veg. Very good service nice relaxed atmosphere. Certainly recommend.
