Since Gino's East relocated to Rosemont, the staff seems to have lost their friendly demeanor. The owner/manager always appears unhappy and it seems to have a negative impact on the employees. Despite my repeated visits, I always leave vowing not to return. The only reason I keep going back is for the food, but I'm certain you can find similar pizza elsewhere. Save yourself the frustration and head to Giordano's instead.
Picked up a friend from O'Hare and was there within 10 minutes for dinner. Easy parking. Our server was attentive and our food was served pretty quickly. We had salad, an appetizer and pizza--good selection and it was all good! Be warned it closes a little early (9:30 pm) so your evening does need to come to an end. I'd definitely visit this location again.
Food and service was great, our server Demetry was the best. We had a small birthday party for my daughter and he cut up and served a cake that I brought to our party. The restaurant was at a slow period so we got extra attention for everything thing else. He boxed up all our leftovers, great job! Thanks for a nice experience.
The pizza at this location is decent but not as good as the one downtown. The service was adequate but not particularly attentive. It's quite expensive and doesn't offer good value for the price. Excited about first deep dish pizza in Chicago. Very disappointing. Cesar salad soggy. not good. Environment fair. Did not like cornmeal buttery dough or sweet tasting sauce on top. Pizza C- Giordanos the next day was 200% better A Go there!
Gino's East is my favorite deep dish pizza place in Chicago! The food is excellent and the service is excellent as well! I do miss being able to write on the walls but it's a beautiful new restaurant!
Our first time at this Gino's and loved it. It was perfect place for us to meet up with friends. The waiter was awesome and patient with us since we were taking our time ordering.
