I have always had a good experience here but on Saturday the 18th, it couldn’t be worse. While the restaurant was what would be considered a normal flow of diners, my partner and I were standing at the podium for around 10 minutes just waiting to be seated. Not the biggest deal, it is what it is. Once seated our waiter was prompt with our drinks and after that the service went downhill very quickly. We ordered the all you can eat sushi for the two of us $72 and some change with tax included as the final bill). I really enjoyed literally everything this place has to offer. Their food is really good and even if you're not a great cook, there's no way to go wrong, not unless you don't cook it all the way. I didn't think I'd like their sushi as much as I did but they have so so much variety to choose from, and after just a bit eating, I was full, it was really great, I've been a few times before, and some of my favorites have to be their calamari, edamame, gyoza, and their beef, and I could go on and on and on, but I won't. We had been here three times before this experience. Our party of 4 got seated very promptly and everything was going great. We were starving and exhausted from a long day at work. We ordered and everything was fine. A party of 8 sat in front of us. 20 min later they received their food. We waited another 35-40 min to even receive our food though we had been seated and ordered before the party of 6. I went up to the servers and asked what was taking so long and they brought our food 6 min after I asked. I’m not sure if they’d forgotten it in the back or what. I have never been more pleased with an entire menu as I was at Shabu Shabu! Everything we got was good. The spicy Tokyo Shabu cooking broth packed a punch, the meat was clean and paper thin for perfect cooking and layering stop the amazing noodles and veggies.And the sushi every roll was distinct, sharp, and flavorful. No mushy fish here. Both the fried and fresh rolls were delicious.Service is a bit slow. We had to catch the eye of someone to order more food rather than just waiting for someone to come to the table, because it was very infrequent. However, every time we did order more, it always came. This restaurant is amazing! I stopped by for lunch without knowing what shabu shabu was, and I left completely captivated by the experience. I was the only patron there at the time, but the service was outstanding; the staff went above and beyond to create an authentic Japanese dining atmosphere, from their warm hospitality to the sound of Japanese conversation coming from the kitchen. The ingredients were incredibly fresh—all the meats and vegetables tasted freshly prepared, and the fish was especially exceptional. I can't wait to share this wonderful experience with my family and friends!

Went there for all you can eat sushi. It’s phenomenal, the raw salmon tastes very fresh and the sushi not only tastes amazing, but they make sure it’s aesthetically pleasing.The sushi chef is very pleasant, she is fast and makes the sushi at the highest quality. The hand roll is delicious, and their homemade mango sauce for their mango roll shocked me with how good it was.Drove one hour to eat there and it did not disappoint!

The service is what truly stood out for me, paired with a high-quality product. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive to all our needs. I suspect the chef might also be the owner, as she genuinely seemed to care about ensuring we had a great experience. I will definitely be returning; this was my first visit, but it won’t be my last! I visited this restaurant for dinner based on a recommendation, and I absolutely loved it! As sushi enthusiasts, we really enjoyed the all-you-can-eat sushi menu, which was fantastic, and the dinner prices were very reasonable. The service was friendly and well-timed. Had the shabu shabu broth and bbq. For 2 people you can order up to 6 items from each category. I would go with 3 or 4. They don't let you take home what you don't finish so the waste is a shame. But that's how all you can eat is. Good is great though.Food: 5/5
