Gran Sasso Restaurant

One of my friends ordered the tagliatelle and loved it - it was flavorful and came in a good-sized serving. The other friend and I ordered the lasagna, which was fabulous - light, not heavy, and delicious, with a generous portion size. We also ordered the bruschetta, which was very good. The white wine we had was a nice complement to our meal. For dessert, I had the cheesecake, which was fresh and delicious. We all agreed that we will definitely come back to this restaurant. The only downside was that it did get a little noisy after 7pm, making it hard to hear each other during conversations. However, overall it was a great dining experience.

Well this was my first experience at this restaurant. It is small so I recommend a reservation, and check the hours. I had the Gran sasso and my wife had the lasagna.The service was polite and quick, we also had the bruchetta, while the portion was small it made up for in taste. The mains came hot with excellent tastes, left satisfied and will return to try something else the next time.There were some take out orders being picked up while we were there.

I go to St. Johns College, which is literally right next door to Gran Sasso. (They just call it "Sasso's). Their takeout food can get a little pricey despite smaller portions. They seem to only be open at St. John's lunchtimes on weekdays. very strange. Tasty food though, And Brio! Love that Stuff.

Gran Sasso is a nice little place with friendly staff and really good Italian food. I think that if it was in a higher traffic area, it would definitely be busier.The food is fresh and authentic, home made, consistent.The restaurant is very clean.You are never disappointed.

Friendly, family run and authentic. The best brantford has but always make reservations ahead of time.
