Grass Roots offers a fantastic selection for vegan diners in Westchester! They have a variety of vegan breakfast dishes, sandwiches, smoothies, salads, and desserts. I tried their Ruby sandwich, which is their version of a Reuben, and it was great. The Thai Kale Salad is both delicious and hearty. For breakfast, I particularly enjoy their buckwheat pancakes and the vegan egg sandwich, which features a tasty yolk that enhances the flavor. I appreciate that most of their vegan options lean towards the healthier side!
I had their luv burger with a berry nice smoothie. They have an amazing selection of condiments, including beet ketchup and Sriracha glaze. Smoothie was a bit bland, but that should've been expected since it's pretty much berries and coconut water. Smoothie came in Mason jar with avocado pit straw ! Limited outdoor seating available, not sure if indoor dining was allowed.
Finally, a place in the western chester that offers vegan breakfast options. we had the blueberry buckwheat pancakes and the vegan avocado “egg” sandwich. both were ! Do not forget to check their fresh vegan baked goods. (great option to go with friends who also do not eat vegan)
It’s not often I get to experience a place that has so many options that I feel like a dummy with my jaw on the floor staring at the menu for much too long the food is amazing here, portions are perfectly sized for lunch and the staff is simply delightful!

many vegan options. the egg yolk in my vegan egg sandwich was a delicious surprise. Vegan cookie was also incredibly good. has not rated the mango ice tea, but everything else was great
Lots of delicious vegan options. The blueberry pancakes were stellar, and there was socially distant outdoor dining. Don’t let the location in a strip mall scare you away.
Great experience! Me and my fiancé had a yummy breakfast! I got the grain bowl with vegan cheese and it did not disappoint! Staff was also super friendly
Delicious buck wheat pancakes with the strawberry hibiscus Arnold Palmer. Love that I could buy local maple syrup and some new cloth produce bags!!

I 've had a few options here, all very good, today however I had the Vegan Philly cheesesteak burrito and was in heaven absolutely delish !
beautiful restaurant with some really interesting vegan options almost the half of the menu. definitely recommend.
