Greek Oasis Take Out

This restaurant is just average, but anyone who has been to Greece or lived in Toronto knows that they can do better. The portions are good and the flavor is there, but it lacks something. The menu selection is great, but the negative is that there is no red sauce for the potatoes - it's like having pizza without cheese! Please add red sauce! Also, using frozen bag vegetables shows lazy work; it's better not to offer them at all. Focus on creating serious flavors with pork, chicken, pita bread, or olive bread, and strive to be the best in the Quinte area. For a comparison, try dining at Messini on Danforth Avenue in Toronto or Greek Brothers in Woodbridge - they have perfect 5-star ratings.

Was in the area on holidays and stopped in for lunch. Had a chicken souvlaki and Greek salad my daughter had a gyro, Greek salad, and spanakopita. All dishes were well prepared, flavorful, and with generous portions. Staff, I assume the owner was quite friendly and came over to check in on how our meals were. I would recommend! Kudos for having a decent selection of Greek items on the menu. If it were up to me I would get rid of all the poutine selections. Seems every place these days offer some sort of twist on poutine.

Really hit the spot in the way back from Kingston to the GTA. After a few days of chain restaurants and hotel breakfasts a real meal was long overdue. Everything was tender and tasty and really friendly assumed family that were working the place. Combo #5 was a big hit with our family of 4. It says takeout but there are a couple small tables. If we are ever passing through we will be back for sure. Our family enjoyed mucho. Thank you!

If you're in the area (especially if you're heading to PEC), this is the place to go for affordable Greek cuisine. I tried the lamb dinner and it was both delicious and satisfying. The lamb was cooked perfectly and the stew was flavorful, filled with plenty of vegetables. I also enjoyed the side of vegetables that came with the meal. The staff here is very friendly - overall, a great dining experience.

I've had the lamb skewer, greek salad, gyro and tzatziki from here. The portion sizes are good. The salad was delicious, including the homemade salad. The lamb skewer was cooked to perfection. The only thing that was disappointing was the lack of seasoning, both on the gyro meat and the tzatziki.

Holy cow! Amazing food! Very cute place, kind staff and amazing food. Everything was fresh, homemade taste and just wonderful. Best Greek food I've had since going to Greece 30 years ago.

Delicious pork souvlaki, fresh Greek salad, clean restaurant and very friendly owner/staff. This is a great place to eat if you're looking for a quick bite en route between two cities.

I just wanted to give a quick update. This restaurant is still doing amazing. The food and service are outstanding. Make sure to try the dolmades, they are incredible.

Solid amount of food for the price , food was fresh and tasty , typical Greek place compared to those around the area .
