Greenwood American Kitchen

This place will be a jewel of the northern bank. Amazing attitude, fantastic service, and the food speaks only for itself! The French onion Mac and cheese are rich and sturdy, but not too heavy. The chicken sandwich was delicious one of the best I had in a while, and the apple wreck has a wonderful balance of flavors. Probably most important, the people who lead this place really know what they do, so you can expect Greenwood to be a standout in the North Shore restaurants scene.

The food is excellent and the service is top-notch. The staff is so friendly! The strip steak, salmon, burgers and tuna burgers tasted and all were delicious. The chic Cornbread is not missed as an appetizer, warm with a touch of honey and some butter, it is from this world. The macaroni and cheese is the best my gluten-free son ever had, and the steak too. Don't miss this place! You have a terrace opened when the weather warms up!

Good food (especially the Mac n' Cheese Skillet Cornbread... Good! As a vegetarian, I felt that she offered a variety of options for my picky taste. You also have a wide selection of wine and excellent/personable service! Nicely designed restaurant, inside and outside. Very spacious, also with a large terrace. This restaurant is easy to compete with many in the city. Two thumbs up!

We had an excellent experience! Food and drinks were fantastic and the service was just lovely. I love the interior design and very excited for the summer to spend time on the patio! We had our young kids with us and loved the kid and dessert menu. We are Highwood residents and we will be going back regularly! Very excited to have Greenwood in the neighborhood.

Some items are better than others, as an example burgers are great, the mac and chess is perfect, but their stake (hanger and fillet minion) are on the lower side. Perfect drinks! Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Mark and Josh are doing amazing things in Highwood once again! Lovely ambiance, great food, friendly staff, and a truly excellent cocktail program. Best fried chicken sandwich I've ever had! Highly recommend.
