Greyhound Inn - Reserva de mesa

We were moored on the canal and paid this place a visit as it was only a 10 minute walk away. It's a lovely place with lots of character. The staff are lovely and friendly and it's a dog friendly pub too. We had the scampi and the breakfast grill. Both meals were very tasty and the chips were yummy. Even the dog was served with a bowl of water on a tray with a fog biscuit. Overall a great place to eat and drink. I would have given top marks but for the men's toilet. A bit messy paintwork and the handles on the main door and the cubicle were hanging off.

Highly recommend the visit whether for the food, or just for a drink. Plenty of choice on the menu and all cooked from fresh. Portions a huge. Definitely need a empty stomach before going! Plenty of options for GF and those who are cheese intolerant, like me! Lovely surroundings, and service spot on!

Our group tried six different dishes, all of which were truly remarkable. We highly recommend this restaurant. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, even holding our table for us despite our uncertain arrival time on a barge. The service and meal were truly wonderful. Thank you very much.

I just wanted to thank the staffs at the Grey Hound who catered for my Mum`s wake on the 23rd of May. The food laid on was excellent and the staff were accommodating and caring at such a difficult time. We are definitely going to come back to enjoy the food and hospitality in the future. The Sunday Roasts at this restaurant have been decent overall, but last Sunday was disappointing. The vegetables were overly saturated in butter, the Yorkshire puddings were more like cupcakes, and the service at the bar was practically nonexistent.

Recently had a birthday meal for 19 people. Cannot recommend highly enough to anyone considering similar. Table placing enabled us all to converse, the food was delicious and served seamlessly. Had a wonderful evening!

I went to this restaurant for dinner with my son. We will definitely return with his sisters and our dog! The staff was very friendly and the food was delicious. Plus, they are dog-friendly too!
