GRID IRON IS PERMANENTLY CLOSED Let me start off by saving I 'm so upset for multiple reasons. This place was closed WITHOUT notice to the community.The cost of the menu was more expensive (being a customer for over a decade) but everything has gone up. I did appreciate the streamlined menu. The owner(s) never made themselves available or connected with the community and this place has changed owners at least 3 times. This latest owner had articles written about her from the South Orange press and she clearly didn 't have the business accumen to keep the place going. Came here bc I got a craving for waffles after someone tweeted a picture of waffles lol The waffles definitely hit the spot and I would order them again. I did order the shrimp and grits and well to try because I never had it before. It was under-seasoned to my taste but that could also be how the dish is supposed to be.But all in all great breakfast spot, nice area to walk around in as well after.

We adore this restaurant. Their breakfast options are amazing, especially the waffles and pancakes. We frequently visit with our children, who also enjoy the food. The service is fantastic - incredibly friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is lovely and cozy. I highly recommend this place, it's a must-visit.

You must try the bacon brie omelet at this restaurant, it was absolutely delicious. We also ordered a banana waffle with Nutella drizzle to share at the table and couldn't resist digging in right away. Parking is conveniently located just around the corner. Reserva una mesa ahora

I had the Apple Pie waffles and Grits shrimp. Those were the best waffles I apos;ve ever eaten! Every bite was just heavenly. Shrimp was tender and flavorful, the pancakes were great. Highly recommend!

Chicken Avocado melt was terrible, very bland with no flavor and untoasted bread , very OVER PRICED. Dont even bother with the Cinnamon Apple French Toast.

I used to go a lot for brunch and breakfast but I decided I will not go back. The waitress treated us so badly although we were polite. We felt unwelcomed.

The waffle was good but the potatoes and bacon were not fully cooked. Also they did not provide salt and pepper for the eggs. Lemonade was good.
