GRID IRON IS PERMANENTLY CLOSED Let me start off by saving I 'm so upset for multiple reasons. This place was closed WITHOUT notice to the community.The cost of the menu was more expensive (being a customer for over a decade) but everything has gone up. I did appreciate the streamlined menu. The owner(s) never made themselves available or connected with the community and this place has changed owners at least 3 times. This latest owner had articles written about her from the South Orange press and she clearly didn 't have the business accumen to keep the place going. Wonderful breakfast, brunch, and lunch! Menu is huge with so many options, including gluten-free waffles for about $2 more! You have special coffees like Latte and Chais, but the food itself was great! All waffle dishes come with one side of potatoes, geese, mixed greens or fruit! Grits option gives you a ENTIRE bowl of casting and the potatoes were amazing! Definitely come here with family members and friends who enjoy some gourmet waffles and pancakes!

Really delicious good service... I wish they would take the sanctuary on the Canadian Bacon for the egg benice... They did the right thing and everything was good... Want to taste lunch and dessert... OMG looks good!

The waffle was good but the potatoes and bacon were not fully cooked. Also they did not provide salt and pepper for the eggs. Lemonade was good.

I'm a regular customer if I could give more stars. Great food and service, hands down.
