Grill Le Cervin - Reserva de mesa

We had been warned off the Capri but went anyway and enjoyed it. It has a Michelin star and 17 with Gault-Millau and produces good food in fine surroundings. It was a good last meal of a memorable holiday when the sun shone for six days and the snow was excellent.We were warmly welcomed although the restaurant was quite empty although it filled up a bit later. We had very fine grissini and an excellent assortment of rolls.The food was good. I had a crusty boiled egg with a truffle sauce followed by spaghetti in a very good creamy cheese sauce. It was cooked al dente and was excellent. My friends had equally good food, especiall the desserts.For my dessert I had a lovely chocolate confection....

This place is great if you don't mind: - be served by arrogant waiters - wait for your meal for more than an hour and still not get it - receive annoyed explanations on why the order being so terribly delayed - when you give upon the idea of getting your food, you will still get a bill for all unserved dishes (which you can ignore as we did) - get no apology for this frustration of a serviceTips and hints for possible visitors: Go elsewhere. Zermatt is full of better and friendlier places.Tips and hints for Le cervin: You are kindly requested to realize that the very point of your existence is to feed your customers and provide them with service. Perhaps your staff should learn some vocabula...

Sometimes if you comment a restaurant you feel saying that the hardware is ok but not the software. Now, here it's certainly the other way around. What an anonymous place where you feel back in the 60's ! Surprisingly enough though the service is exceptional as is the food (but still from the 17 points from Gault & Millau you would have to deduct 1 or 2). Let it be as a breakfast room, or then invest some CHF 80'000.- to make this place more suitable. Very disappointing !

As hotel guests we were given a table close to the fire-chimney which made us feel hot and not really comfortable - all other tables apparently being booked. An hour later at around 21.30 still some of those roughly 15 tables were free. The day after when questioning the management was complaining about "all those no shows" ... an evening that we will not forget so quickly.Very professional service, thanks to Italian charm neither cramped nor stiff.The card is designed so that it offers everything for families, couples and business. please do not expect a super high-grilled star restaurant, but simply super eat with a service of passion and let a beautiful day end up at the capri bar. we're coming back!

Price/performance was this evening for us not in the lot the Amuse-Bouche really tasted us both, the fish was fade and not tender, the carpaccio e tartare di fassone unfortunately also did not convince. for our taste almost too much personal, hardly finished away with the teller. very nice staff, but only the chef spoke German...Everything in everything we were disappointed

During a recent stay at Mont Cervin Palace, I had the pleasure of dining at the Grill one evening. The food was fantastic and service was polished yet friendly. Definitely consider an option from the charcoal grill for your entree. I chose the rack of lamb special, which was by far the best lamb dish I ever ate!

Saturday evening dinner was excellent. The food, wine and (in particular) the service was all first class. Particular mention goes to the restaurant manager (see picture) and the Swiss aged fillet steak, which has to be one of the tastiest any in the world! The Sion Pinot Noir was also good. we expected something really outstanding (17 in G-M and a star in Michelin) but received on the contrary very bad food for high price!Also the service is really not on level with waiters who made a lot of mistakes (like adding red wine in a glass of white wine!)

Beautiful restaurant, great food and service. We ate there twice during our 7 day stay in Zermatt. We enjoyed the rack of lamb and roasted chicken.
