Grub City - Reserva de mesa

This is a new restaurant so we came in to try it and were blown away by the friendliness of the owners who talked about veganism and said they want to build their vegan menu. They even asked for our suggestions. We had a vegan cheesesteak and a vegan avocado/cheese/lettuce/tomato along with homemade pickles, homemade black bean corn salad, and amazing fries. They plan to add vegan chili to the menu and possibly Smokey tempeh strips. This would be an excellent place to patronize as they build up their options, most of which ideally use ingredients they already have on hand. Will definitely be back, these people are great.

I had the vegan Philly cheesesteak, and it was outstanding! The owner's son, Don, makes the sauce himself, and I must say the texture and flavor were fantastic! I'm an avid cook, so we chatted for a bit, and I even took some great photos. I will definitely be back. I would have liked to give it 5 stars, but for some reason, I wasn't able to. As always, it was delicious!

What a find on Route 9! Be sure to try the vegan Reuben with homemade seitan and 1000 Island dressing! It comes with pickles and your choice of French fries or homemade potato chips. Don’t miss the selection of Stewart's sodas in the cooler. The staff is really friendly and the food is excellent, making this my new must-visit spot in Jersey!

the family was ingenious to get her brains and try more products! I have no doubt that in the near future they will have many possibilities! joins them with vegan in nj, can not wait to see what else they can do! chef joe will make them everything he can do with the things he has to handle. the vegan reuben was great! The owners are very receptive to suggestions for new vegan options and are always willing to collaborate to meet customer desires. I had the best vegan grilled cheese I've ever tasted there.
