This restaurant was recommended by a local, so we decided to give it a shot. That was a good decision! A bit hard to find, but very worth the search! The staff is very friendly and recommended us the best dishes. We had ropa vieja (very recommendable), queso frito (good but not the best on the island), black pork (very tender and well cooked), papas arrugadas (not special of course, but just good) and one other dish I forgot. That was enough for the three of us. We already saw the home made desserts when we walked in and we reserved a tiny space for it. That was a good decision because the desserts were really delicious! Try the Gofio mousse and the caramel something cream, they are really good! Also the tres leches cake was good. Don't forget to reserve some space for it! Really recommendable, of you are near, go there! A lot of locals as well and although it is not very cozy with all the tv's, it feels really authentic Canarian. So the only thing they can do better is turning off the tv's and music.

This place is on the edge of town down a concrete track through a vineyard. It is very large and I think gets very busy with families at the weekend. It has an amazing view across the town . It serves simple Canarian food at really cheap prices, mainly grills but a few other things such as Ropa Vieja. We had solomllo (an enormous piece) with wrinkly potoes with excellent green sauce, and a salad. Loads of food. They have some interesting desserts too. Coffee is served only on Saturdays and Sundays. No choice of wine: just red or white.

Great local restaurant, good food with really large portions and afordable prices. The view was absolutely lovely, on the entrance side of the restaurant you can see the mountains and inside you have a view to the sea... Oh, and a great white wine, wich I guess is made by them being that they have a wineyard there.

The food was a 5, the price even better! Put a 1 star as our waitress was rude and everything was a problem (we expressed our frustration with the manager). So sorry but was not a nice atmosphere due to this lady.
