Guchhi Indian Seafood

A cold pre Christmas night is probably not the best to judge this restaurant on, because it was extremely quiet. That left us a little worried, but that was soon set aside. The service was very attentive and the menu very interesting. We didn't go for the standard fare, but tried a couple of the seafood specialities lobster and scallops. They were well worth it. Really interesting take on Indian food. Far better than the usual stuff that other restaurants trot out. We will definitely return.

I highly recommend this restaurant! It is a hidden gem in the heart of Leith. Unlike other Indian restaurants in the area, Guchhi stands out with its creative, seafood-focused menu featuring dishes you won't find elsewhere. They also offer a unique 'tapas' style menu, allowing you to sample a variety of dishes. If you enjoy trying a little bit of everything, this is the perfect place for you!

I cannot recommend this restaurant enough! It is a gem in the heart of Leith. Compared to other Indian restaurants in town, Guchhi differentiates itself by have a creative, seafood based menu, with many dishes that you won't see at other Indian restaurants. It is also unusual in that you can do a tapas' style menu, so if you like to try a bit of everything, this is the perfect way to do it!

The food was really good, tasty , unusual and good value for money. Service was attantive, friendly but not in your face! Would go again!

Indian restaurant, one of the few places in the area, which remains open until 1:00 a.m. Great fish meal.
