Hapi Sushi Of Laguna

The sushi chef is so happy and radiates joy and I can’t rate any lower because of his smiling face. I only wish the prices were more transparent. Got a carafe of sake that ended up being 20 dollars. I just asked for sake, assuming a carafe would be between 7-15. Also ordered sashimi that was way above what I expected. Ended up spending 60 dollars for two rolls and a carafe.

I love it. I have lived in Laguna for 25 years and this is by far my favorite of the 5 sushi joints in Laguna. The place is small so that a crowded weekend will come early. the owner name is Sato and always has a great special. Try a 79 Special Eal Roll with strawberries. again this place fits 30 people maximum, but its good food.

Small place, good, simple sushi. That's how I would categorize it. I had the salmon and lemon roll and it was fantastic. Had the philly roll and it was adequately filled with favours that fought to win your palet. Nothing fancy here, just great sushi done in decent portions. I will definitely be back.

Great food and menu. Would recommend the 79 Special with Aal and Strawberry! I go here regularly and it's one of my favorite sushi places in socal

Small, quaint, 4 small booth table hybrids plus sushi bar seating for maybe 20. Very private. Loved it.
