Tortilla Republic Laguna Beach

While on vacation in San Diego California my girlfriend and I decided to take an overnight stay to the beach Laguuna to enjoy the beautiful beaches and the city. We discovered this little jewel of a restaurant. From the moment we arrived there, we felt welcome and also felt the authentic Mexican atmosphere! The waiter we had was extremely helpful and knowledgeable when he came to the menu. The drinks were also incredible!! Consulting Chef Cathy Shyne and Executive Chef Brandon Warren have created a farm-to-table menu at this restaurant in Laguna Beach using fresh ingredients and organic produce. Chilaquiles – Tortilla Republic The restaurant theme and décor really seems to capture the coastal lifestyle of the luxurious surrounding location, Laguna Beach. The restaurant features spectacular coastal views from every seat available and there are the two outdoor dining terraces, a courtyard patio and a retractable roof for indoor al fresco dining!

As good as the food was here, I can't say enough about how great the service was that we received in Tortilla Republic. Our server Brian was incredibly familiar with the menu and set the mood relaxed with his social demeanor. Our drinks never went dry and my girlfriend and I had a great experience. We'll be in Orange County for the next time!

The margaritas are amazing, especially the Spicy Pomegranate. I love the Guac too. The mole and suiza chicken nchiladas are the best! Trendy Mexican with authentic and modern flavors. Check out my blog for a full review.

We only had drinks here, but we really enjoyed it. Well, I guess they gave us free salsa and chips to eat. Very good service. However, the nighttime atmosphere was amazing. They did a very good job on the decor.
