Harry's Oklahoma Style Smokehouse Bbq

Today we visited Harry's BBQ in Lomita California. This place has been around for a very long time. The lobby is small with no inside dining available. Once inside you will see lots of photos of famous singers and actors. Apparently the owner had a nightclub bck in the days in Oklahoma where all these famous people would attend, see photos. I was greeted warmly by Debbie, she was very helpfull and had really good knowledge about the food.We ordered the 3 item combo from the board. But because we wanted more 2 brisket and 1 tri tip. I would have rated this restaurant a perfect five, but we placed a large order and unfortunately, several items were missing when we received it. We were too far away to call or return to address the issue. Other than that, the food was delicious, and both the gentleman who took our order over the phone and the man at the counter were incredibly helpful and friendly.

First time here, ordered the brisket sandwich, pulled pork sandwich, macaroni and cheese, and onion rings. Everything was delicious and we'll go back to take family to enjoy as well. There is no indoor seating but they do have a few tables on the sidewalk so it was fine. They also do take out. I appreciate that they serve BBQ sauce on the side without us asking.

I am a bbq lover. Now I am a lover of this place. The ribs are some if the best I have experienced. Tender juicy and flavorful. I've been Here a few times now and every experience has been wonderful. The sides are also bomb. I always get the mashed potatoes because there is something different about them that stands alone. Must try spot if you like great bbq Reserva una mesa ahora

Nothing to complain about. Excellent energy from Jose.The food is good right down the line.Even though it's a little off the bbq mainstream,The theta chicken sandwich would make for a perfect lunch.The potato salad was a little runny My preference is for a little more vinegar a little less mayo but hey it's their recipe.Lucky to have this place place

Well if Oklahoma makes their bbq in a oven then I just won't vist that state, because that's what I was served, how's ANY kind of bbq food not going to have any char on it ?, can Bush beans ?,never saw that kind of chicken before either ? idk who's been raving about this spot but obviously they don't know

Now everyone has their own expectations when eating BBQ and to each his own . With that being said I didn't care for the flavor , maybe it's the Oklahoma style. I had the brisket beef ribs and rib tips. I would recomend you try it for yourself though. Support your local businesses.

I absolutely loved the Chicken Theta Sandwich, which features BBQ chicken breast, cheese, and pickles. It was delicious! The Potato Wedges Corn Fritters are also among my favorites! Just a heads up: there is no indoor seating available, only sidewalk seating. Reserva una mesa ahora

Fast service, decent food. Portions on peach cobbler (which was meh) and onion rings definitely didn't seem in line with the price. I imagine it's better if you dine in.
