I was passing through Wharton and decided to stop by and place an order at the drive-thru on Thursday afternoon. The young man who took our order was incredibly kind. Although I ordered a few items that were unavailable that day, he was polite and apologetic about it. He did his best to suggest alternatives from the menu, which I really appreciated. The wait wasn't long, especially considering our large order, and the food was absolutely delicious. The chicken was crunchy and juicy, and the sides were fantastic. I highly recommend this restaurant for its excellent customer service and delicious food!

The food was terrible it look like it had set out there all day I have eaten at this restaurant several times and always enjoyed the chicken tonight it was a total failure whoever is the manager on staff should be fired 3 28 18 at 8:00pm I asked for unsweet tea they said they were out of tea they were out of chicken livers chicken gizzards chicken tenders and fried fish and the vegetable bar was in very sad shape.
The best meal I've had in a while included the cheesiest macaroni, sweet carrots, spicy cabbage (spicy for me, at least), and crispy chicken! This place has definitely become one of my favorite spots. I opted for the buffet and tried a little bit of everything, and I loved it all! The area was clean, and the staff was friendly, contributing to a relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommended!

The chicken was cooked to perfection, and the light, fluffy rolls paired with creamy mashed potatoes and coleslaw were absolutely amazing. The chicken ranks as the eighth best I've ever had, and coming from the South, I know my fried chicken! The rolls were irresistible—you just can’t get enough of them. I give this place 5 stars. The service was quick and friendly too.
Best homecooking I've had in a minute with the cheesiest macaroni, sweet carrots, spicy cabbage(for me at least) and crunchy chicken!!! Definitely making this spot one of my frequent stops. The food has a lovely homemade taste, but the lack of cleanliness in the dining area and restroom (not to mention what the kitchen must be like) is quite unpleasant. The presence of too many flies is also worrying. The unsanitary conditions will definitely make this my first and last visit.
You absolutely have to give this place a try. I really enjoy guissards, and these are perfectly clean, tender, and crispy. The fried chicken is fantastic! I've tried other places like Hartz, but this one is my top pick. I'm so glad there's one nearby. Keep up the amazing cooking!

Food has really good home cooked flavor, yet the dirtiness of the dinning area, restroom, (I can only imagine what the kitchen looks like) and excessive flys just really turns you away. There's a huge lack of cleanliness that this will be my first andlast time here.
Omg!! The place was Filthy dont know if they are under a new ownership but they take no pride in their chicken. Also they barely put any Chicken under the warming lights on the buffet counter and you have to keep asking for chicken .Disgusting not clean
