This is one of the most historic restaurants still open for business. It's ocean front location, relaxing atmosphere, friendly service and food were excellent. Couldn't have asked for more. We are saddened, though, that the restaurant may have a new staff and menu once the new contractor takes over in Dec. Make your reservations for breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner. It is well worth it!
I’ll say “I’ve been there done it”. Very underimpressed, all the way around. Had reservations for Birthday Anniversary table near beach NONE were acknowleged!! Never checked if food was ok food was just ok. Way overpriced for what we had one would expect that here but not impressed! Sorry, was looking forward to brunch here was disappointed.
Cosy place right on the beach with stunning views throughout the day and especially at sunset. Service is good. came for a breakfast and a dinner. The food is clean and high quality. Court for me were the lobster eggs Benedict. The French toast was on average. A little pricy, but it's worth it.

I love Hau Tree Lanai. But with the limited menu, while understood, food quality just isn’t the same.
Menu choices were great, service excellent, “covid” adaptations made us feel very safe.

"Super tasty tonkatsu! We were lucky and able to sit outside (as we did not have reservations). The way they breaded the pork is just plain amazing. It's kinda difficult to explain as you just need to try and experience it yourself. The food here is pretty good and worth to check out."
