Great food as always but the management left a bad taste in our mouth that ruined the dinner. We arrived Wednesday evening for a family dinner before a couple people headed back to their home states. We requested a 6 person table outside and were told we could sit at a 4 table and a 2 table next to each other. Or, we could be put on a waitlist for a larger single table. We opted to wait and get one table to seat all six. Roughly 10 minutes later, we were called and shown to our seats. We were shown to a corner that had a 4 person and 2 person next to each other. Hazlewood’s food was great, but the service was extremely lousy for the price and quality of the food. My friend and I sat for a solid 10 min in the back corner of the restaurant (down the ramp on the right from front entrance) until we were greeted, but not by our server. But, by a bartender who had been in the back stocking wine bottles into a milk crate. She came up to us and asked if we were greeted, and we replied “no”. Another 5 min goes by and the bartender brings us water and says our server will be with us shortly. And again another few min goes by, and our server finally arrives. After the most relaxing morning spa treatments, we were looking forward to a nice lunch and Hazelwood Tonka Bay did not disappoint. Our spa attire had us feeling pretty under dressed for indoor seating at this location. I'm sure we would have been fine for lunch but it just seemed more relaxed and comfortable outside. We arrived at shift change and we were asked to wait about 10 minutes for the new server starting their shift. This mention was greatly appreciated in advance so we didn't perceive the lag in introductions as slow service. 5 stars to the host that was on point!! Friday night at the Hazelwood, would not recommend. We are from out of town and were meeting grandma. Do not go if you don't have a reservation. Even then, you may not get seated. Parking is a nightmare and I had an altercation in the parking lot. I am a middle aged women with two young kids and my youngest was terrified to get out of the car. The place is nice enough, but fully packed with a long line. Food took an enormous amount of time. I ordered the special and it took ten minutes longer than the rest. Trendy, friendly, and clean. We enjoyed our time at Hazelwood! Made a reservation for brunch, no issues, place was very busy on a Saturday morning. Very friendly server and food was solid. I saw an old post where omelettes appears to be $25 so didn’t want to go, but I called, and indeed, they are only $15. They have a breakfast pizza, which I thought was pretty creative!! Pancakes were fluffy and buttery! Avocado toast was definitely the best item at our table though! Enjoy!! Oh and order the large orange juice, the small is a joke. :

For many years they had the best home made meatloaf but it was completely different on our last visit. The Chester 's Turkey Avocado Melt was very good while the Margherita Pizza was somewhat tasteless and could have had more basil. Service was great. Very busy most dinner hours so go a little earlier or later. The inside seating is cozy and the outside patio seating was spacious and had just enough shade. Nice selection of beer, wine, Bourbon and Scotch.

Spinach Artichoke Dip (not pictured) was by far the best I've had. The Minute Chicken and Hazlewood Mac Burger (pictured) were nothing short of delicious. The place is always hopping so be prepared for a short wait, but the staff are so kind and friendly and put forth every effort to seat you quickly. Dimly lit vibe with comfortable and alternative seating the perfect place for the day after Valentines date night!! We'll be back very, very soon!!

Great ambiance for Brunch, but the food was average at best. Most of the items were pre-prepped giving the dishes more of a large catered event bland flavor. The chicken in the Chicken Biscuits Gravy was overcooked and tough, the gravy lacked flavor, and the maple flavored biscuits were too much. Vegetable Omelet was light, but the “smoked gouda” hash browns were cold and mushy and were likely sliced from a precooked pan. Disappointed. Reserva una mesa ahora

Food is amazing! 2 out of the 3 times we have been here our service has sucked! Today we had to order a drink twice because they forgot about it. Food came out super quick, we were pretty much done eating when we were checked on again. Brought our check finally came to run our card at least 15 min later. Could overhear them complaining to other staff. Had time to do that, but not take care of us.

Great food and service. The outdoor patio was nice, and there was a good selection of shady and sunny spots to suit your preference. Fried chicken, biscuits gravy was great; so was the blackberry brie burger. Oh, and you MUST get the brie cheese curds. Easily in the top three we've tried...and we've tried our fair share of cheese curds Would definitely eat here again.
