Having been very pleased with the service and menu choices at the Henny swan previously ,I decided to use it for a celebration birthday meal for my visiting son 60th birthday),his partner and myself .We had a very satisfying lunchtime meal on a Monday , sitting outside as the weather was excellent for late September and the menu choice did not disappoint. The positioning of the Swan by the river is good ,all the servers extremely willing and friendly and I feel it was an excellent celebration. Parking in the overflow carpark is good, we make a point of arriving very early but the road frontage is usually full even then . We dined there last night and had a fantastic experience. The service was exceptional. We made a last-minute change from two to four people, and it was no problem at all; everyone was incredibly friendly. As for the food, the lamb that three of us ordered was absolutely delicious. This is a very convenient spot for parking and launching your boat or paddle board. It's dog-friendly and offers great food. Overall, I'd rate the food a 4, the service a 5, and the atmosphere a 5.
