Hero King Nutley New Jersey is on top of our list.. Every Friday and Saturday is Household(3) Treat day. We have approximately 20 restaurants. We drive from 2 and a 1/2 miles to 40 miles out from our house. I keep a list and critique the foods Quality, Quantity, and Consistency. If the take-out doesn't meet our QQ, the consistency is not there. The restaurant goes to the bottom and gets a second chance later. 2 strikes your out and replaced. Outstanding job Hero King of Nutley. A Parking: I'm learning the area where and where I can not park. I will inquire about additional parking options with Hero King's staff.
This place is so worth it!!! Bought two number 4 Italian subs and from the quality of the bread and cold cuts to the friendly man and woman working there...HATS OFF!!! YOU TWO TOTALLY NAILED IT!!! What I mean to say is that they went above myexpectations. Definitely going back on Friday to try the lobster rolls. It's nice to see people who care so much about what theydo and they are truely outstanding. I wish them all the best. Update Got the lobster rolls today!! They rock!! Verydelicious. This is my new sandwich spot in Nutley, NJ.
I used to bring a bus group from the Detroit area every year before the pandemic for tours in New York. I would need to order 56 sandwiches with 3 to 4 different options. Our bus typically wouldn't arrive at the hotel until after 8:00 PM, which is outside your normal business hours. However, upon our arrival, someone would always deliver our lunches for the next day. I’ve always appreciated the extra effort you put in for our group. The sandwiches were consistently delicious. I look forward to working with you again soon!
I'm not sure how this restaurant has received so many positive reviews. My turkey and cheese sandwich was terrible! The bread was hard, and the turkey was unappetizing. They pile on a lot of meat, but that's only because the quality is poor. I won't be returning; I'd prefer to go to the other sandwich shop down the street.

Today for the first time I had the pleasure of trying Hero King. The Italian hero was fantastic. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. Also I met the owner , who is a real class act. I will be back for sure. Thank You
Not all heros wear capes but some come in loaves of bread. Friendly service. Lots of meat in sandwiches and filling. The pastrami sandwich and the Italian were really good. Worth a trip if craving yummy subs.
Excellent sandwich, bread is fresh, cold cuts are fresh and it a well built sandwich. Macaroni salad was on point.
One of the best sandwich shops around. Very generous portions at a reasonable price.
