My co-interns and I decided to check out the cafe on the 7th floor of our building. We were so surprised to see how modern and clean the cafe looks. The ladies who worked there could tell that we looked kind of lost and they were so generous in helping us and explaining the menu items. We have been patrons of High St. for 18 years. Over the years we have grown to love this restaurant and go every chance we get. For us it is our place to celebrate milestones and special occasions. I’ve traveled far and wide and have not had better food than this restaurant turns out every time. Every time we visit we start with at least the blackened alligator and end with the bananas foster. We usually try the specials as there is always something exciting and new. We have never had a bad experience and love the staff. We have gotten used to the fun vibe and tight seating. The lady who works at the front register is very, very rude With the customer. She makes you feel not welcome to purchase food from cafe. One time I did not leave a tip and she looked at me very ugly and laughed as I walked away. I will not be retuning to this cafe for lunch.
one of the best meals, i have ever had. cocunut chicken is amazing. huge portion. Never had anything close to this. would go back just for that entree.

Our favorite West Chester restaurant! The Cajun/Creole menu is unique in the area. We've been dining here for years and have never been disappointed.

The food is why you come here. The interior is quite cramped and get loud, and sometimes hot in the heat of summer, but oh...the food.
Eclectic menu, good food, a little cramped (small tables very close together).
